FUNKY FUN WITH ART STUDENTS
Office plants spice up a new Southampton University
Brief
To replace the existing planting scheme which looked old, tired and very traditional with a scheme that was exciting and fun but practical and good value at the same time.
Solution
Less is more. We used planters from our Spirit ‘Curvy’ range, in funky colours, planted up with hard-wearing but architectural greenery.
Effect
The transformation was amazing! By using less displays but making them spectacular, we succeeded in creating features that actually enhance the student art at the University.

Office Plants enhance Southampton HQ
Brief
A modern, clean-cut look with an oriental twist in the reception and abundant, good value greenery in the office areas.
Solution
Ficus Ginseng and Crassula Horntree plants to give the oriental look, with brushed aluminium planters to give clean, architectural lines.
In the office areas we used big, black, angular containers and tall, spreading plants to get the greenery up high so that all staff can see it.
Effect
A welcoming reception area that reflects the modern image of the company. In other areas of the building the large displays ensure that all employees can enjoy the full benefits of greenery without blowing the company budget.

The final touch to a well-designed new school. The colours match perfectly to extend the corporate image and blend in beautifully with the whole design.
